A Florida native, Carlos Zapata is a dedicated criminal defense attorney known for his aggressive and trial-ready approach. Before leaving to pursue his passion for criminal defense, Carlos was a Miami-Dade prosecutor who saw firsthand how the State Attorney’s Office “builds” cases against everyday people.
Carlos now uses his unique experience to zealously advocate against shoddy investigations, mistaken or biased witnesses, and overzealous prosecutors. As a graduate of one of the top twenty law schools in the country, Carlos is committed to providing his clients with thorough and effective representation.
Carlos has represented clients charged with drug trafficking, armed robberies, armed burglaries, domestic violence, driving under the influence – and other felony, misdemeanor, and traffic offenses.
